Terms of Service
Last updated: July 27, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using KamerCar, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Our service
KamerCar is a marketplace connecting vehicle sellers and buyers in Cameroon. We do not own the vehicles listed and are not a party to any transaction: sales are concluded directly between buyer and seller.
A "verified" label indicates a consistency check of the listing, not a mechanical or legal guarantee of the vehicle.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
4. Listing rules
You may only list vehicles you own or are authorized to sell. Listings must be accurate: real photos of the vehicle, honest price, truthful mileage and condition.
We may remove any misleading, illegal or rule-breaking listing without notice, and suspend the accounts involved.
5. Transactions and safety
Transactions are at the parties’ own risk. We recommend meeting the other party in a public place, inspecting the vehicle and its documents before any payment, and never sending money in advance.
6. Fees
Posting listings is currently free. If paid services are introduced, they will be clearly announced before any charge.
7. Content and license
You keep ownership of your photos and descriptions. By publishing them, you grant us the right to display and promote them on the platform and our channels (for example WhatsApp share previews).
8. Prohibited uses
Prohibited uses include: fraud and fake listings, impersonation, automated scraping of the site, and any illegal use of the platform.
9. Liability
The platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, KamerCar is not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers, nor for indirect damages arising from use of the service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Douala.
